Using the Wheel of Well-being can extend projects in exciting ways. In 2013, the Young Foundation took the wheel and really ran with it! They used it to create ‘Practising Positivity’ - a new addition to their ‘U’ programme, which has now been run in 20 neighbourhoods across south-east England. ‘Practicing Positivity’ is an innovative new initiative that trains local hosts to run well-being workshops in their own neighbourhoods. It aims to connect people through shared learning, using the wheel and some of the information we include in our DIY Happiness workshops. During the workshops, people discuss how to manage stress, practice positivity and respond to challenges in a healthy way.
